Southwest EFFORT is an educational foundation developed in partnership with the Southwest Local
School District. The foundation’s purpose is to support the needs of the students, staff, and community
serviced by the Southwest Local School District. This goal is accomplished through a variety of outreach
programs.

What out-reach programs do we provide?

Southwest EFFORT is working to help Southwest Local School District students and staff through the
following:
 

Scholarships                                  The Foundation funds and facilitates numerous student scholarship
                                                       programs for leadership, public service, the arts, and much more.

Opportunity Grants                       For innovative students, faculty and staff programs.

Support of SLSD Activities           Such as Showcase Southwest, Academic Award Nights, Academic
                                                        Signing Day, as well as many additional other programs.

Are donations tax-deductible?
 

Your tax-deductible donation helps these and other Southwest EFFORT programs. Southwest EFFORT
is a 501(3) charitable organization; an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes will be sent for all
donations received.
